The Compiler

The Native Oberon compiler is a member of the Oberon Compiler family. It is a modification of the OP2 compiler and parses the Oberon language with some PC-specific additions. The Active Oberon (the Native Oberon system only supports a non-concurrent subset of Active Oberon), OberonX and Oberon-2 language extensions are also supported by this compiler. The generated code is compatible with the Intel 386/387 processor and its extensions.
